Haitian judge questions detained Americans

A group of U.S. Baptist missionaries arrested trying to leave Haiti with a busload of children faced more questioning by a local judge, while an orphanage director said many of the children had parents.
Here we go again! Does this remind anyone of the French “humanitarian” team that was trying to rescue a group of “orphans” from Africa a few years ago?
Can someone hammer these basic notions into the thick skulls of these nut jobs? Offering disaster relief is a commendable deed; trafficking minors illegally is a criminal act. Helping and taking over are two vastly different things. Interfering in the lives of others no matter how high-minded you may think your reasons are is a violation of the most basic of human rights!
This is an evangelical missionary group taking children out of their country to be raised in their faith, rather than Haiti’s own strongly Catholic and Voodoo culture. Which God do these people serve by kidnapping orphans and kids with LIVING parents, bus them to the border and try to smuggle them across by bribing a local police officer? This is not about God! This is about themselves and their lack of respect for anything but their own religious and political views. This is about egos that know no boundaries. These people are criminals and should be treated as such.
When Jesus Christ gave the example of the Good Samaritan, it wasn’t an example of taking over the life of another but rather being willing to help without imposing your beliefs on others. A good person who is there to genuinely help, would do everything in their power to bind the families together, not further splinter them by kidnapping and smuggling their kids.
These people are not serving any God I know of. These are religious nuts. And they come in all flavors my friends, don’t they?
